Pediatrics

As an Early Intervention physical therapist, I assess babies and toddlers for delayed motor development and then work with families to use the resources they have to meet their children’s motor goals. I also assist families with attaining proper assistive devices needed to enhance development when appropriate.

In both the outpatient and home settings, I treat children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and other neurologic conditions to help them meet their motor milestones and improve physical fitness. I treat children who are both delayed and typically developing with posture, strength, balance, and agility to improve physical development.

In the outpatient setting, I treat a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses (including flat feet, toe-in, Osgood-Schlatter’s Disease, Sever’s disease, hip dysplasia). I see children post-operation and post-injury to help them regain strength and range of motion and ensure they can continue to meet their motor milestones.
